2. Note-Making and Summarization:

• Extracting main ideas and presenting in proper format

• Title, headings, sub-headings, abbreviations

• Writing a summary in 80 words

1. Short Writing Tasks (5 Marks):

• Advertisement (Classified/Display)

• Invitations & Replies (Formal & Informal)

2. Long Writing Tasks (5 Marks each):

• Formal/Official Letters (Enquiry, Complaint, Placing Order, Job Application with Bio-data/Resume)

• Article Writing

• Speech Writing

• Report Writing

Key Focus:

• Formats and word limits as per CBSE guidelines

• Use of formal language, coherence, and accurate grammar
